Katikati College is located on the enchanting Bay of Plenty 37 km north of Tauranga. At Katikati College, approx. 1000 students from 7th to 13th grade taught. High quality teaching and best care characterize this school.

Katikati College is a member of ODENZ (Outdoor Education New Zealand) and has received the quality seal for the Outdoor Education program.

With only 20 international students, the international program is very individual and personal. The small number of international students ensures a good integration in the classes.

The motto of the school is "Ever Trying, Ever Onward", which freely translates "Whoever never gives up, will always come forward". Katikati College's school attaches great importance not only to the usual academic subjects, but also to culture, arts and sports. Music and instrumental lessons, theater, fashion design and Kapa Haka (Traditional Maori Dance) are essential components of the school's identity. International students can rent musical instruments at very affordable prices. Sports enthusiasts can practice numerous sports, both in outdoor education and in the newly established sports center. The school also has a heated swimming pool.

Katikati College is located in the center of Katikati city. Katikati is a small town with approx. 5,000 inhabitants, which is directly on the coast of the "Bay of Plenty". The city was named "Most Beautiful Small Towns of New Zealand" a few years ago. The nearest major resorts are Waihi (28 km) and Tauranga (40 km).
